Some points:
1. Delhi is not listed above
2. Chandigarh is listed as part of Punjab.
Some errors:
1. Johrhat ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jorhat ) is the second largest metropolitan area of Assam. It is missing in the above list.
But as per http://www.world-gazetteer.com/wg.php?x=&men=gcis&lng=en&dat=80&geo=-104&srt=npan&col=aohdq&msz=1500&pt=a&va=x&srt=pnan and http://www.world-gazetteer.com/wg.php?x=&men=gcis&lng=en&des=wg&geo=-104&srt=pnan&col=adhoq&msz=1500&pt=a&va=x&geo=-1853 Jorhat is much smaller.
So it is not clear which one is correct: The wikipedia entry or the World Gazetteer.
As per http://www.world-gazetteer.com/wg.php?x=&men=gcis&lng=en&dat=80&geo=-104&srt=npan&col=aohdq&msz=1500&pt=a&va=x&srt=pnan Jorhat is listed at number 571 with population of 73683.
